Unreal Engine Visualization Studio for Animation, Interactive Walkthroughs and VR Tours

Unreal Engine visualization is architecture, interiors and products built as a real-time scene in Unreal Engine 5, so one model gives you photoreal renders, films, interactive walkthroughs, VR tours and configurators. We build the scene from your SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max or ArchiCAD model, and you see changes live instead of waiting for new renders.

Unreal Engine film

See a UE5 animation from one real-time scene

A 110-second film rendered in Unreal Engine 5 for a Lamborghini logistics office. The same real-time scene gave 14 still renders and let the brand team change materials and lighting live during reviews.

Unreal Engine visualization services, from photoreal renders to VR tours

One Unreal Engine scene can be rendered as still images and films, opened as an interactive walkthrough, put into a VR headset or turned into a configurator. We plan the scene for every format you need from the first brief, so each new output starts from work already done.

  • Photoreal Unreal Engine render of a superyacht twin cabin with two beds, geometric wall panels and yellow accents

Unreal Engine renders and still images

Photoreal architectural, interior, yacht and product renders made in Unreal Engine 5, in 4K for websites, brochures, investor decks and press. Stills come from the same scene as the film and the walkthrough, so every image matches.
  • Unreal Engine animation still of a Jaguar-inspired custom supercar driving through a tunnel with racing stripes

    Unreal Engine animation and cinematics

Architectural, interior, automotive and product animation made in Unreal Engine 5: flythroughs, walkthrough films, car reveals and product shots, cut for websites, launches and social. For a Lamborghini logistics office, one scene gave 14 stills and a 110-second film.
  • Real-time Unreal Engine scene of an office lounge corner with a sculptural chair, a sofa and colourful artwork

    Interactive walkthroughs and presentations

A real-time scene that your team, buyers or investors move through themselves: switch day and night, open rooms, compare design options and present the project in a meeting, a sales gallery or a review call.
  • Buyer in a VR headset touring an apartment in a developer sales gallery, with the same Unreal Engine interior on a wall screen

    VR tours for headsets

The same scene in a VR headset, so a buyer, tenant or investor stands inside the building before it exists. We set the tour up for the headset you present on and tune it to run smoothly there.
  • Unreal Engine scene of an apartment building by a canal at dusk with a running fountain, rippling water and moving cars

    Simulations and real-time effects

Water, traffic and light that behave like the real thing, with Niagara effects, Blueprints and custom plugins, so the project looks alive in every film and walkthrough.
  • Real-time Unreal Engine configurator on a presentation screen: a living room with floor, wall colour and sofa options

    Real-time configurators

Materials, furniture, lighting and colour schemes that change live, for an interior a buyer personalises or a product range your sales team presents in a showroom or at a trade show.

Not sure which Unreal Engine format you need first?

It depends on where you present: a sales gallery, an investor meeting, a design review or a launch campaign. Tell us the audience and the screen, and we come back with the format, the hardware and a plan.

Cover of the guide on architectural animation budgets and storyboards

Free guide: a 60-second film is 1,440 frames. This brief made it $19,740

Behind every logo in that row is a brief that fits in an email: what the film must do, where it plays, how long it runs. The ones that grow into shot lists get expensive fast; one composite 3D architectural animation brief came to $19,740 for a building that needed $4,600. The guide prices each line and gives you the seven storyboard decisions that control the budget.

Common real-time visualization problems

Unreal Engine Visualization Challenges We Solve

  • 01 Happened to us

Every change means waiting for new renders

In a still-image workflow each material or lighting change goes back to the studio and returns days later.

Our fixIn Unreal Engine we change materials and lighting live during the review. For Lamborghini, three review cycles took 11 days instead of the usual three to four weeks.

  • 02 Happened to us

    A beautiful scene that stutters

Heavy architectural models drop frames in real time, and a walkthrough that stutters in front of a buyer does more harm than none.

Our fixWe optimise geometry, textures and lighting for the target computer, screen or headset and test the scene on it before delivery.

  • 03 Happened to us

A model that was not built for real time

CAD and BIM files arrive with millions of polygons, broken normals and no UVs.

Our fixWe clean up and rebuild what real time needs and keep your design exactly as drawn.

  • 04 Happened to us

Real time that looks like a game

Default materials and flat lighting make an Unreal Engine scene look cheaper than an offline render.

Our fixOur artists come from photoreal architectural visualization (archviz), so materials, light and camera are set to the standard of our still renders.

  • 05 Happened to us

Separate teams for film, VR and stills

When the film, the VR tour and the renders come from different studios, they never quite match.

Our fixOne team and one scene produce the film, the stills, the walkthrough and the VR tour, so every output shows the same project.

How an Unreal Engine visualization project runs, step by step

Every Unreal Engine project goes through the same five steps, so you approve the look in still frames before the scene becomes interactive and changes stay cheap.

Two rounds of revisions on the draft and one on the final are included, and in Unreal Engine most of them happen live during a review call.

Under the hood

Unreal Engine Development Behind Every Scene: Blueprints, C++ and Niagara

Real-time visualization is part 3D art and part software. Our Unreal Engine team writes the Blueprints and C++ that make a walkthrough or a configurator behave, builds Niagara effects and custom plugins, and optimises the scene so it runs smoothly on the computer, screen or headset it is made for.

See all 3D animation services

  • Blueprints and C++ Interaction logic, menus, option switching and camera rules, written for your project rather than taken from a template.
  • Niagara effects Water, fountains, particles and light effects that move in real time.
  • Physical simulations Water, vehicles and traffic, sunlight and artificial light behaving like the real thing.
  • Custom plugins and tools Our own Unreal Engine plugins when a project needs a feature the engine does not have out of the box.
  • Your model, adapted SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, ArchiCAD and Rhino models brought in, with geometry, UVs and materials fixed for real time.
  • Optimised for each platform Polygons, textures and lighting tuned for a presentation PC, a sales gallery screen or a VR headset.
  • Photoreal standard PBR materials, HDRI and Lumen or baked lighting, set to the standard of our still renders rather than a game look.
  • Films and stills from the same scene The scene used for the walkthrough also renders 4K films and still images.

Got it — thank you. Expect an answer in your inbox within one business day.
What is Unreal Engine visualization?

Unreal Engine visualization is architecture, interiors or products built as a real-time 3D scene in Unreal Engine, the engine made by Epic Games. The scene draws photoreal frames in a fraction of a second, so one model becomes still renders, a film, an interactive walkthrough, a VR tour or a configurator, and changes appear live.

How is an Unreal Engine scene different from a regular 3D render?

An offline render computes each image for minutes or hours; Unreal Engine draws photoreal frames in real time. We render final stills and films in Unreal Engine too, and the same live scene lets you move the camera and change materials and lighting during a review. For each project we choose Unreal Engine or 3ds Max with Corona, depending on the outputs you need.

Can you make photoreal still renders in Unreal Engine?

Yes. We render final still images in Unreal Engine 5, in 4K, for websites, brochures, investor decks and planning, from the same scene used for the film or the walkthrough. For a Lamborghini logistics office, one UE5 scene produced 14 final renders and a 110-second animation.

Can you work from our SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max or ArchiCAD model?

Yes. We adapt SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino and other CAD models for Unreal Engine: we fix geometry, UVs and materials for real time and keep the design as drawn. If there is no model yet, we build it from your drawings.

Can we hire your Unreal Engine team under our studio or agency brand?

Yes. We work white-label for visualization studios and agencies: you sell the project to your client, we produce the Unreal Engine scene, film or VR tour under your name, and we never contact your client. You get one project manager and a team of artists and Unreal Engine developers.

Do you write Blueprints and C++ for interactive projects?

Yes. Our Unreal Engine developers write the Blueprints and C++ behind walkthroughs, VR tours and configurators: interaction, menus, option switching and camera rules. When a project needs a feature the engine does not have, we write our own plugin.

Which VR headsets do you build VR tours for?

We set the VR tour up for the headset you will present on and optimise the scene so it runs smoothly there, whether it is a standalone headset or one connected to a PC. Tell us the headset and where it will be used, such as a sales gallery, an office or a trade show.

Can you build a real-time configurator in Unreal Engine?

Yes. We build configurators in Unreal Engine where buyers or your sales team switch materials, furniture, lighting and colour schemes live. For a configurator embedded on your website, see our 3D product configurator service, and for apartment sales our interactive apartment selector.

Can we change materials and lighting during the review?

Yes, that is the main reason to review in Unreal Engine. For a Lamborghini logistics office, the brand and operations teams changed materials and lighting live in UE5 review sessions, and three review cycles took 11 days instead of the usual three to four weeks with static renders.

How long does an Unreal Engine visualization project take?

It depends on the outputs. An animation of up to a minute usually takes four to six weeks from a full brief, and an interactive walkthrough or VR tour is planned once we have seen the model and know the hardware. We reply to every request within one business day with a schedule.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds of revisions on the draft and one on the final are included. In Unreal Engine most material and lighting changes happen live during a review call, so they rarely need a full revision round.

Do you also render stills and films outside Unreal Engine?

Yes. Our main still-image pipeline is 3ds Max with Corona, and we also work in D5, Twinmotion and Blender. We use Unreal Engine when you need real time, VR, interaction or renders and films from one scene, and offline rendering when a project needs only a few hero stills.

Unreal Engine or Twinmotion: which do you use?

Both are made by Epic Games: Twinmotion is quicker to learn and has fewer controls, while Unreal Engine gives full control over materials, lighting, interaction and code. We use Unreal Engine when a project needs custom interaction, VR, configurators or simulations. Read our comparison of Unreal Engine and Twinmotion.
