Lighting Rendering Services for Lighting Manufacturers and Brands
Light fixture CGI we produce instead of a lighting photo shoot
Light fixture CGI covers every image a lighting range has to show, for pendants, chandeliers, wall lights and sconces, floor and table lamps, ceiling fans, linear LED and outdoor luminaires, from catalogue pages and spec sheets to room sets, trade show visuals and social media content. In our studio one accurate model of each fixture feeds all of them, made by our 3D product rendering team, and the same model is delivered as Revit, BIM or STEP files. Only a sketch so far? We develop the design in 3D first.

Catalogue, spec-sheet and e-commerce images
Fixtures on white, every finish and size, front, side and dimension views for your catalogue, spec sheets, website, Amazon and distributor feeds, plus Revit, BIM and STEP models for specifiers.
Every finish and colourway without samples
Shades, glass colours, metal finishes and sizes swapped on one model, so a whole collection is shown in identical light and angles before a single sample is made.
Light, glass and finish that look real
The fixture switched on and off, warm or cool colour temperature, ribbed, opal or smoked glass, brushed brass and the pattern the light throws on the wall, built from your IES files where you have them.
Lighting schemes for designers and specifiers
Your lighting layout and fixture schedule visualised in the real room at night, so a client approves the mood before installation. Calculations stay in your lighting design software; we show the result.
Fixtures in real interiors
Kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, hotel rooms and restaurants styled for your market, with the same fixture placed in several room sets for your website, catalogue and social media.
Architectural and outdoor lighting on buildings
Facade, landscape and hospitality lighting shown at dusk and at night, for architectural lighting manufacturers' project references, tenders and specifier presentations.
Social media, ads and product video
Room sets cut for Instagram, Reels and TikTok, ad creatives and a short film of the fixture switching on, all from the same models. Your marketing team or agency runs the campaign; we make the visuals.
Any of these can be right. The set you need depends on where the fixture will be sold.
Which views to order is a late decision. What comes first is where the images have to work: a trade show launch, a distributor catalogue, an online store or a specifier presentation. We start there, not with a shot list, and come back with a plan for what to show, where and in what order.

Most studios sell you renders. We work out what will actually move your project forward.
Ask a rendering studio what you need and you get a quote for renders. We start from the outcome you are paid for: a committee that signs off, enquiries on a scheme that does not exist yet, a buyer who stops comparing, an investor who commits.
Send one email and our 3D strategist replies with a commercial plan for the project: what to show, to whom, in what order, where it goes to work, and what it takes. The list of deliverables is the end of that plan, not the beginning.
Free, and yours to keep even if you never work with us.
Thank you – your request has been sent.
Our 3D strategist is reading the project now and will write back with the plan: what to show, to whom, and in what order.

Free guide: one product, three ways to pay, and the one that cost $28,000
None of the brands above started with a forty-page specification. They started by choosing a route: packshots, lifestyle scenes or a master model for every colourway after. Bought still by still, one product's year of product rendering came to $28,000; from one master model, $10,520. The guide prices all three routes and shows which one fits your range.

Lighting Rendering Challenges We Solve
-
01 Happened to us
No prototype yet, the trade show date is fixed
The lamp is still at the factory, but distributors, the pre-order page, the catalogue and the stand at Euroluce, Lightfair or Light + Building need images now.
Our fixWe render from CAD, drawings and finish samples, so the full image set is ready before the first prototype ships.
-
02 Happened to us
The light itself looks flat in photos
Photographing a lit fixture means blown highlights, glare on glass and a light pattern that never matches what people see in the room.
Our fixWe build light output, glass refraction and metal reflections into every model and check them against a photo or sample of the real fixture.
-
03 Happened to us
Every finish and size needs a reshoot
A collection in six finishes and three sizes multiplies studio days, and the light never quite matches between shoots.
Our fixOne model per fixture, with finishes and glass swapped in software, keeps every SKU identical in angle and light.
-
04 Happened to us
Catalogue images do not match each other
Product photos from different factories and years sit side by side in one catalogue and on one website, with different angles, backgrounds and colour.
Our fixWe rebuild the range in one visual standard: the same camera, background, light and view set for every fixture, old and new.
-
05 Happened to us
Specifiers cannot picture the fixture in their project
Architects, interior designers and hotel clients choose lighting from a cut sheet, and a flat product photo does not show how it looks in a real room at night.
Our fixWe place the fixture in interiors and on buildings at the right scale and colour temperature, so specifiers can approve it in context.

Lighting CGI by product stage
A lighting collection needs different visuals at each stage: design concepts and investor images, pre-order and trade show visuals, catalogue and listing sets, project and campaign scenes, then fast variants for new finishes. We scope each set to the decision in front of you.
The fixture models built for the first stage are reused for the next, so each new set costs less than starting over.

FAQ
Questions about lighting rendering and light fixture CGI
Didn’t find your question?
Ask it here. A producer replies within one business day — with an answer, not a sales call.
What is lighting rendering?
Lighting rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of lamps, light fixtures and luminaires, created from CAD, drawings and finish samples instead of a photo shoot. Lighting manufacturers and brands use it for catalogues, spec sheets, online stores, trade shows, room sets and social media, often before the first prototype exists.
Is CGI cheaper than a photo shoot for light fixtures?
It depends on the range. For one finished fixture, a product photographer is often the quicker and cheaper choice. CGI wins when you have many finishes and sizes, when samples do not exist yet, or when the same fixture has to appear lit in many rooms, because one 3D model is reused instead of rebooking a studio and set.
What files do you need to render a light fixture?
CAD or 3D files, technical drawings with dimensions, finish and glass samples or photos, and IES files if you have them are the best start. Without CAD, drawings and reference photos are enough: we build the 3D model ourselves and match every finish and the light colour to the real fixture.
Do you make Revit families, BIM objects and STEP models of light fixtures?
Yes. From the same 3D model we build for your renders, we deliver Revit families and BIM objects that architects and lighting designers place in their projects, and STEP files for engineering, configurators and distributors. Each file is checked against your drawings, so its dimensions match the real fixture.
We only have a sketch, not a prototype. Can you help?
Yes. Many lighting brands come to us with a sketch or an early CAD model. We develop the design in 3D, show each version in the rooms it is made for, and refine the chosen one into the model used for every later image, so your factory works from a design that is already approved.
Can we show renders to distributors, buyers and pre-order customers before production?
Yes, and most lighting launches start there. Renders built from your final CAD show the fixture as it will ship, so they work in distributor presentations, catalogues, trade show stands, crowdfunding and pre-order pages. For pre-orders, keep every image true to the product you will deliver.
Can we use the renders on Amazon and in our online store?
Yes for your store, social media and most listing slots. Amazon asks for a professional photograph of the actual product as the main image, so many brands keep a photo there and use renders for the secondary images, A+ content and 360° spins, where CGI saves the most.
Can you create lighting marketing content: social media, ads and a product video?
Yes, the visual part of it. From the same 3D models we make room sets for social media, ad creatives, Instagram Reels and TikTok cuts, and a short film of the fixture switching on, sized for every placement. Media buying, posting and campaign management stay with your marketing team or agency; we work alongside them.
Why not just use an AI image generator?
AI generators are fine for quick mood images, but they redraw the product: the shape of the shade, the glass and the light pattern drift from image to image. We build an exact 3D model of the fixture and use AI only where it helps, for people and locations, so the fixture itself never changes between images.
Can CGI show the fixture switched on, with real light, glass and metal?
Yes. We model the light source with its colour temperature and, where you supply them, the IES files of the fixture, so the beam, glow and pattern on the wall follow the real light distribution. Glass refraction, opal diffusers and brushed or polished metal are checked against a photo or sample before delivery.
Do you make lighting animation?
Yes. From the same models we produce short films of the fixture switching on, rotating 360° views, exploded views for assembly and installation, and camera moves through a lit room, cut for trade show screens, your website and paid social. Timing, camera and sound come from our 3D product animation team.
Are you lighting designers? Do you do lighting calculations?
No. We do not replace a lighting designer or run illuminance calculations; that stays in DIALux, Relux or AGi32 with your lighting designer. Lighting designers send us their layout, fixture schedule and IES files, and we visualise the scheme in the real room so the client can approve it.
Can you render a whole collection in every finish and size?
Yes, and that is where CGI saves the most. One model per fixture carries every finish, glass colour and size, so a large collection is rendered in identical light and angles, and new finishes are added later without a new shoot.
How long does lighting rendering take?
It depends on how many fixtures need modelling, material complexity and revisions. We agree the schedule against your trade show, catalogue or launch dates before we start, and run catalogue views, room sets and animation in parallel teams so the full set lands on time.
