Supplement 3D Rendering and Animation for Nutraceutical Brands

Supplement product rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a bottle, jar, pouch or capsule, built from your dieline and label artwork before the packaging is printed. We model and render packshots, full product lines and lifestyle scenes, and turn the same models into 360° spins and ingredient animation.

Supplement visuals from packshot to mechanism animation

A supplement launch needs product pages, marketplace images, retail sell-in decks and social content while the labels are still at the printer. We model your bottle, jar, pouch or capsule from the dieline and artwork you already have, so every channel shows the product customers will actually receive.

  • Macro render of four clear capsules filled with botanical ingredient powders on a green background

    Packshots and ingredient macros

Front, three-quarter and back-label packshots on white or on brand color, plus macro shots of capsules, softgels, tablets and powders with the botanicals and minerals they contain. Cut-out PNGs with transparency are delivered for marketplaces and retailer portals.
  • Render of the four-carton Nature Generation supplement line on sunlit stone steps

    Full product lines and variants

Every flavor, strength and pack size from one master scene. The model is built once, then each SKU gets its own label, so a four-product line keeps the same lighting, angle and scale across the whole range.
  • 360° spins for product pages

Turntable renders with a transparent background, delivered as a frame sequence or a looping video, so shoppers can turn the jar and read the label on a product page, a marketplace listing or a campaign page.
  • Lifestyle render of a Flawless supplement carton on a dresser while a woman puts on earrings in the mirror

    Lifestyle and campaign scenes

Your pack on a kitchen counter, in a gym bag, on a bathroom shelf or in a model’s hand, built in 3D rather than staged on set. The same scene can be re-lit for seasons and re-dressed for new markets without another shoot.
  • Ingredient and mechanism animation

Cellular-scale animation of how an ingredient or capsule behaves after it is swallowed, built from the formulation story the brand approves. Claims and data come from the brand; the studio designs and animates the science.
  • Vertical cuts for social

Short capsule reveals, pour shots and product loops framed for 9:16 from the storyboard, so nothing important falls outside the safe area of Reels, TikTok or Stories.
  • Brand films and launch animation

Longer launch films that combine packshots, ingredient moments and lifestyle scenes into one story for the website hero, paid social and retailer presentations.
  • Exploded capsule render with magnesium powder and raw mineral ingredients

    Cutaways and ingredient diagrams

Cutaway views of capsule-in-capsule designs, layered tablets and delivery systems, with labeled call-outs for the ingredients inside. Useful on product pages and in retailer training, where a photo cannot show what is inside.
  • Render of a white smart pill dispenser on a kitchen table

    Devices, dispensers and dosing kits

Pill dispensers, smart pill organizers, shakers, scoops and dosing kits rendered from CAD and animated to show how they are loaded, used and refilled.

Any of these can be right. The set you need depends on where the launch sells first.

Which shots to order is a late decision. What comes first is the job the images have to do: win the retail buyer, pass the marketplace image rules, fill the product page or feed paid social. We start there, not with a render list, and come back with a plan for what to show, to whom, in what order, and how to put it to work.

Cover of the guide on choosing between packshots, lifestyle scenes and a master product model

Free guide: one product, three ways to pay, and the one that cost $28,000

None of the brands above started with a forty-page specification. They started by choosing a route: packshots, lifestyle scenes or a master model for every colourway after. Bought still by still, one product's year of product rendering came to $28,000; from one master model, $10,520. The guide prices all three routes and shows which one fits your range.

Common supplement rendering problems

Supplement Rendering Challenges We Solve

  • 01 Happened to us

Labels change after the renders are done

A new claim, a regulatory tweak or a new flavor lands after sign-off, and a photo shoot would have to be repeated for every SKU.

Our fixThe label is a texture on a finished model, so we swap the artwork and re-render the set in days instead of booking a new shoot.

  • 02 Happened to us

Label text comes out warped or unreadable

Small print on curved bottles and shrink sleeves is where most renders fail, and retailers reject packshots with blurry claims.

Our fixWe map your dieline at print resolution and check every line of copy against the artwork before final rendering.

  • 03 Happened to us

The marketplace rejects the main image

Main images need a pure white background, the whole product in frame and nothing that is not in the box.

Our fixWe deliver the main image to marketplace rules and keep claims, badges and props for the secondary images.

  • 04 Happened to us

    Every SKU looks slightly different

When images come from different shoots or vendors, cap shapes, colors and lighting drift across a product line.

Our fixOne master scene, one lighting set-up and one camera per angle for the whole range, so the line reads as one brand.

  • 05 Happened to us

    Capsules and powders look fake

Softgels, gummies and powders are hard to render: they turn plastic, flat or too perfect.

Our fixWe build translucency, surface texture and natural variation into every dosage form and check it against your samples or photos.

Supplement visuals by launch stage

What a supplement brand needs from renders changes with the stage of the launch. Early views sell the concept to buyers and retailers, later ones sell the product to shoppers, so we scope the set to the decision in front of you.

The models built for the first stage are reused for the next, so each new set costs less than starting over.

What is supplement product rendering?
Supplement product rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a supplement bottle, jar, pouch or dosage form, built from the dieline and label artwork rather than photographed. Brands use it for product pages, marketplace listings, retailer sell-in and ads, often before the packaging is printed.
What do you need to start a supplement rendering project?
A dieline or flat label artwork and the container dimensions are enough to start. Product photos, a physical sample, cap and material references and the dosage form improve accuracy. If the pack already exists as CAD or a 3D file from your manufacturer, we build on it.
Can you render a supplement without a physical sample?
Yes. Most supplement renders are made before finished stock exists. We model the container from its dimensions or the manufacturer drawing and map the label from your print artwork, so the render matches the pack that will ship rather than a prototype.
How long does supplement rendering take?
It depends on the number of SKUs, formats and whether animation is included. Because each pack is built once as a 3D model, extra flavors and formats take far less time than the first one. You get a timeline with the quote, before any work starts.
Do you make 360° spins for supplement product pages?
Yes. We render turntable sequences with a transparent background, delivered as frames or a looping video. For Simple Science we produced four camera setups and 494 transparent PNG frames, so the same spin works on a white listing and on a dark campaign page.
Can you animate how a supplement ingredient works?
Yes. We produce mechanism-of-action animation at cellular scale, as we did for Calocurb. The brand supplies and approves the science and any on-screen claims; the studio designs the visual story and animates it, so the film stays within what the brand can substantiate.
Why use CGI instead of a supplement photo shoot?
CGI does not need finished stock, a set or a reshoot when a label changes. One model covers every flavor, size and angle, and adds shots a camera struggles with, such as cutaways, dissolving tablets and clean ingredient macros. Photography still suits people and real-location scenes.
Can you render a whole supplement line or new flavors?
Yes. We build a master scene once and swap the label for each SKU, so lighting, angle and scale stay identical across the line. For Nature Generation a four-product carton line was rendered from one scene and delivered in wide, portrait, square and cut-out formats.
Which packaging formats and label finishes can you render?
Bottles, jars, tubs, pouches, sachets, droppers, blister packs and gift boxes, with capsules, softgels, tablets, gummies and powders. Label finishes include foil, embossing, spot varnish, soft-touch, transparent labels and shrink sleeves, each mapped from your print artwork.
Do you make vertical video for supplement brands?
Yes. We frame 9:16 animation from the storyboard rather than cropping a landscape film, so the product and any text stay inside the safe area of Reels, TikTok and Stories. Short loops such as capsule reveals and pour shots come from the same models as the stills.
How much does supplement rendering cost?
We price by production hours, not per image, so the quote depends on the number of SKUs, images and animation seconds, and on how complete the artwork is. Additional SKUs from an existing model cost much less than the first. You get a fixed scope and price before work starts.
How are revisions handled?
You approve label placement, colors and camera angles on previews before final rendering, so most changes happen early and cost little. Changes requested after final delivery, for example after a label update, are estimated in hours and agreed before we start.
