3D Packaging Rendering Services and Packaging Design
3D packaging rendering services, from packaging design to launch film
3D packaging rendering services turn a dieline and label artwork into photoreal images, mockups and animation of the finished pack. We design or render cartons, bottles, cans, jars, pouches, tubes and gift boxes for food and drink, wine and spirits, beauty, supplements, pet and home brands, from the first concept to the launch campaign.

Packaging design, from structure to label
No design yet? We create the pack ourselves: shape, structure, label artwork and finishes, shown in 3D before you order a single sample. Already working with a designer? We render from their files.
Custom 3D mockups, not templates
Online mockup templates fit a standard box. We fold your own dieline and artwork into an exact 3D carton, bottle, can or pouch, so you see how the label wraps before you sign off the print.
Packshots for Amazon, Shopify and retail
Pure-white main images and silos at marketplace size, with true label colour and readable small print, rendered at the same angle across every SKU.
Colour, label and finish variants
Matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, emboss, kraft and recycled board, plus new colourways, rendered from one model, so a new flavour, size or a more sustainable material costs a render, not a reshoot.360° spins for product pages
A full turn of the pack as a looping video or an image sequence for your product page viewer, rendered from the same model as the stills.Packaging animation and unboxing films
Short films where the box opens, the bottle turns into the light or the label comes into focus, cut for ads, social media, product pages and retail screens. We make the films; your marketing team runs the campaign.
Retail buyers, investors and pre-orders
Your range on a shelf, a display or a sell sheet for the line review, plus a pre-order page, deck and crowdfunding images for investors, all before the first print run.
Close-ups, finishes and lifestyle scenes
Macro shots of foil, emboss and contents, and the pack on a counter, a shelf or in a bag, lit like a campaign photo, with one model reused across every scene and social format.
Not sure which renders your pack needs first?
The list depends on where the pack sells first: a marketplace listing, a retail pitch, a crowdfunding page or a launch campaign. Tell us the channel and the date, and we come back with a shot list and the order to render it in.

Most studios sell you renders. We work out what will actually move your project forward.
Ask a rendering studio what you need and you get a quote for renders. We start from the outcome you are paid for: a committee that signs off, enquiries on a scheme that does not exist yet, a buyer who stops comparing, an investor who commits.
Send one email and our 3D strategist replies with a commercial plan for the project: what to show, to whom, in what order, where it goes to work, and what it takes. The list of deliverables is the end of that plan, not the beginning.
Free, and yours to keep even if you never work with us.
Thank you – your request has been sent.
Our 3D strategist is reading the project now and will write back with the plan: what to show, to whom, and in what order.
From our packaging projects
3D packaging renders from our launches
Skincare boxes and serum vials for a cosmetic packaging design launch, jars and a gift box for Seed’s supplement packaging, a four-SKU carton line, a 360° magnesium jar spin, skincare tubes, a beauty pop-up counter, a gift box for a running brand and diaper packs. The same work by industry lives on our cosmetic product rendering and supplement rendering pages.

Free guide: 51 SKUs shot vs rendered, and the colourway where CGI wins
The brands in the row above rarely send us a shot list. They send CAD, a colourway list and a launch date, and we model each product once. We priced one catalogue of 51 SKUs both ways: photographed, $27,450; rendered, $22,005. The guide shows every line of the e-commerce product rendering quote, the colourway where the two routes cross and when a camera still wins.

Packaging Rendering Challenges We Solve
-
01 Happened to us
The label looks flat or warped on the pack
Artwork pasted onto a jar, can or pouch stretches, loses its bleed or wraps the wrong way, and buyers notice it at once.
Our fixWe build the pack to the dieline dimensions and map the artwork panel by panel, then check every edge and seam at full size.
-
02 Happened to us
A template mockup that is not your pack
A stock mockup has someone else’s shape, cap and proportions, so the image promises a pack you will never ship.
Our fixWe model your exact structure, closure and size, from the dieline or any CAD file, and render your artwork on it.
-
03 Happened to us
Colours that do not match the printed pack
A render that looks right on screen drifts from the Pantone or the printed proof, and the listing promises a colour the box does not have.
Our fixWe match brand colours to your references and printed samples, and render under neutral light before any mood lighting is added.
-
04 Happened to us
Finishes that read as plastic
Foil, emboss, soft-touch, kraft and frosted glass look cheap when the material is guessed instead of built.
Our fixWe build each finish as its own material, with real reflection, roughness and depth, and approve it in a close-up before the full set.
-
05 Happened to us
The pack is not printed yet
The launch, the retail buyer or the crowdfunding page needs images while the design is still changing.
Our fixWe render from the dieline and artwork, so you show the pack weeks before the print run and update the renders when the artwork changes.

How 3D packaging design and rendering works, step by step
Every packaging project we take on goes through the same five steps. The pack is designed or built once in 3D, approved as one clean white view, and only then multiplied into mockups, variants, scenes and films, so changes stay cheap.
For Nature Generation, one set of 3D carton models carried four SKUs through packshots, social formats and lifestyle scenes.

FAQ
Questions about 3D packaging rendering
Didn’t find your question?
Ask it here. A producer replies within one business day — with an answer, not a sales call.
What is 3D packaging rendering?
3D packaging rendering is creating photoreal images and animations of a pack from its dieline and label artwork instead of photographing a printed sample. The pack is built as an accurate 3D model, the artwork is mapped onto it, and every view, variant and scene is rendered from that one model.
Do you design the packaging or only render it?
Both. We design packaging from scratch, the structure, the label artwork and the finishes, and show every option in 3D before you order samples. If you already work with a packaging designer or an agency, we render from their dieline and artwork files instead.
What files do you need to render our packaging?
A dieline with dimensions and the print-ready label artwork, usually AI or PDF, are enough to start. Pantone or CMYK references, a printed sample and drawings of caps or inserts make the result faster. We accept any CAD format, and without a dieline we create the structure ourselves.
Can a 3D render replace a physical packaging prototype?
For design approval, variants, retail buyers and marketing, yes: a 3D render shows the finished pack, its colours and finishes without printing anything. For checking fit, folding and print quality you still need a physical sample, which we recommend ordering once the design is approved in 3D.
Why not use a free packaging mockup template?
A template is fine for a quick check of a standard box. It shows someone else’s shape, closure and proportions, though, so it cannot show your exact pack, foil or emboss. We model your own structure from the dieline and render your artwork on it, ready for listings and print approval.
Can we show the packaging to retail buyers and investors before it is printed?
Yes, it is one of the most common reasons brands order packaging renders. We render the range on shelves and displays, images for sell sheets and line reviews, and pitch deck or crowdfunding visuals for investors and pre-orders, then update them when the artwork changes.
Can you prepare packshots for Amazon and Shopify listings?
Yes. We deliver main images on a pure white background at the size marketplaces ask for, plus secondary images with close-ups, contents and lifestyle scenes. For full listing and catalogue sets see our e-commerce product rendering. The render must show the real pack, so we work from your final artwork.
How do you match the render to our printed colours and finishes?
We match colours to your Pantone or CMYK references and, when you send one, to a printed sample photographed under neutral light. Foil, emboss, soft-touch, kraft, frosted glass and metallic inks are built as separate materials and approved in a close-up before the full set is rendered.
Can one 3D model cover all our SKUs and flavours?
Yes, when the packs share a shape. We swap the label artwork and the finish and render the same angles and light for every SKU. In the four-SKU supplement range case, one set of carton models covered packshots, social formats and lifestyle scenes.
Can you make unboxing videos and launch content for social media and ads?
Yes. We animate pack reveals, unboxings and product turns, and cut them for ads, Reels, TikTok and product pages, together with stills for posts and banners. We make the visuals; your marketing team or agency runs the campaign. Longer product films are on our 3D product animation page.
Should we choose packaging renders or a product photo shoot?
Choose renders when the pack is not printed yet, when you have many SKUs, sizes or finishes, or when you need one look across marketplaces, retail and ads. Choose a shoot for people-led content with a finished product. Many brands use both: CGI for packshots and variants, photography for social.
How is this different from an AI packaging generator?
An AI generator invents a pack that looks plausible, but it changes your text, logo and proportions from image to image. We build your real structure and artwork in 3D, so the label reads exactly as printed and every SKU, angle and scene matches the pack you will ship.
How long does a packaging rendering project take?
A first draft still usually takes 3 to 5 working days from a complete brief, and a set of 5 to 8 views about 2 to 3 weeks. A packshot of a modelled pack takes about 4 hours of work and a lifestyle scene about 6, so most of the calendar goes into the design or the first model.
Which packaging types and industries do you work with?
We design and render folding cartons, rigid and mailer boxes, gift sets, bottles, cans, jars, pouches, tubes and labels for food and drink, wine and spirits, craft beer, beauty, supplements, pet and home brands. For industry pages see cosmetic product rendering and supplement rendering.
