Office Rendering and 3D Animation for Office Buildings and Workplaces

Office rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a planned or refurbished office, built from drawings and the fit-out design before anything is built or photographed. We render and animate office buildings, lobbies, open-plan floors, meeting rooms and amenities for developers, landlords, architects and workplace designers.

Office visuals from the first facade to the leasing film

An office building is sold several times before anyone moves in: to investors, to the planning board, to the agents who lease it and to the tenants who have to picture their team on an empty floor. We model the building and its floors once from your drawings and render every view each of those audiences needs.

  • Render of a curved glass office facade with planted balconies along a city street

    Office building exteriors

Street-level views, facades and entrances that show the architecture, the materials and how the building sits in its block.
  • Aerial render of an office and light-industrial complex with parking, roads and open land around it

    Campus aerials and site plans

Aerials of office parks and mixed-use schemes: buildings, parking, landscape and access, for investors, planners and leasing brochures.
  • Render of an office reception lounge with curved sofas, marble floor and warm cove lighting

    Lobbies and reception

The arrival, reception desk and lobby lounge: the first space a tenant tours and the one that sets the rent.
  • Render of an open-plan office with white workstations, a wood wall and tall windows

    Open-plan workspaces

Desks, focus zones and circulation furnished to the layout, with the real daylight and view, so a tenant can see the floor working.
  • Render of an office meeting room with a long wood table, laptops, tan leather chairs and a city view

    Meeting rooms and boardrooms

Conference rooms, boardrooms and phone booths with the specified furniture, AV and acoustic finishes.
  • Render of an office games room with a pool table, wood panelling and a lounge chair

    Amenities and breakout spaces

Cafés, lounges, games rooms, terraces and gyms: the amenities that win the flight-to-quality tenant.
  • Render of a dark branded office lounge with a grey sofa, sculpture and a sports car on display

    Branded headquarters

Workplaces built around a company’s identity: materials, art, product displays and signage that make the office part of the brand.
  • Office animation and walkthroughs

Walk-throughs of the floor, arrival sequences and short social cuts for leasing launches, built from the same 3D scene as the stills.
  • 360° panoramas and virtual tours

Interactive tours of a floor or a show suite that agents can send before a viewing and tenants can share with their board.

Any of these can be right. The views you need depend on who has to sign next.

Which views to order is a late decision. What comes first is the job the images have to do: close the funding, get through planning, pre-let the floors or get the board to approve the new headquarters. We start there, not with a render list, and come back with a plan for what to show, to whom, in what order, and how to put it to work.

Cover of the guide on sizing an architectural rendering order

Free guide: you order 12 images, publish 4 and pay $3,700 for the rest

Look at the logos above: none of those teams orders architectural rendering by the dozen. They start from where the building will be seen and let the image count follow. In our composite of a typical order, twelve views were bought, four were published and $3,700 went on images nobody used. The guide gives you the priced order, the place-by-place sizing list and the short brief to send instead.

Who reads the images

Who orders office renders and what each team needs from them

The same office model is read differently by an investment committee, a leasing agent and a tenant’s head of workplace. We scope the views to the audience, and one 3D scene serves all of them.

    Office developers and landlords

Need floors pre-let before practical completion. We render the building, the arrival and a fitted floor that lets a tenant picture their team, then reuse the model for every leasing round.

Common office rendering problems

Office Rendering Challenges We Solve

  • 01 Happened to us

Tenants cannot picture an empty floor

A shell floor and a plan do not show how a team of eighty would sit, meet and eat there, so viewings end without a decision.

Our fixWe render the floor fitted for a realistic tenant, with desks, meeting rooms and amenities to the plan, so the space reads as an office, not a slab.

  • 02 Happened to us

Every office looks like every other glass box

Library furniture, flat light and a generic skyline make the building look like the one down the road and do nothing for the rent.

Our fixWe model the specified finishes and furniture, light each space for its time of day, and give the building its own character.

  • 03 Happened to us

The view from the floor is invented

For an office the view and the daylight sell the floor, and a stock skyline is spotted by anyone who knows the street.

Our fixWe model the real surroundings from the site plan, maps and photos, and place each camera on the floor it shows.

  • 04 Happened to us

The layout changes with every tenant

Test fits, Cat A and Cat B options and tenant layouts change through leasing, and each change breaks the images already made.

Our fixThe 3D scene is built to be updated: we swap the layout or finishes and re-render the same cameras instead of starting over.

  • 05 Happened to us

Marketing has to start before the building is ready

Pre-letting, refurbishments and relocations need images months before the floors can be photographed.

Our fixWe deliver the launch set in web, print and social formats, and swap in details as the fit-out is finalized.

Office visuals by project stage

What an office project needs from renders changes with its stage. Early views raise funding and win approvals, later ones pre-let the floors and get tenants moving in, so we scope the set to the decision in front of you.

The 3D model built for the first stage is reused for the next, so each new set costs less than starting over.

What is office rendering?

Office rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a planned or refurbished office building and its interiors: exteriors, aerials, lobbies, open-plan floors, meeting rooms and amenities. It is built from architectural drawings and the fit-out design, so investors, planners, agents and tenants can see the office before it is built, fitted or photographed.

What do you need to start an office rendering project?

The best start is the site plan, floor plans, elevations and CAD, Revit or SketchUp files, plus the fit-out package if there is one: test fit or tenant layout, material board and furniture schedule. Site photos help render the real view from each floor. We can start with partial drawings and a clear brief.

Which office views should we render first?

Start with the views your next decision depends on. For funding that is usually the building in context and one fitted floor; for planning the street-level and night views; for pre-letting the lobby, a typical floor and the amenities. We plan the order so each set reuses the same model.

Can you show different fit-out options or tenant layouts?

Yes. From one model of the floor we render Cat A and Cat B options, test fits for different tenant sizes and alternative finishes from the same cameras, so agents and occupiers can compare them side by side. Changing a layout means editing the scene, not starting a new project.

Can you render the real view from each floor?

Yes. We model the surroundings from the site plan, maps, photos and drone footage, and place each camera on the floor it shows, so the skyline, park or street view is the one tenants will actually have. For sites without that data we agree the view with you before final rendering.

Do you make office animations and virtual tours?

Yes. From the same 3D scene we produce building flyovers, arrival sequences, floor walk-throughs and short social cuts, as well as 360° panoramas and virtual tours of a typical floor or show suite. Because the scene already exists, animation builds on the stills instead of starting over.

How long does an office rendering project take?

Timing depends on the number of views, how complete the drawings are and whether animation is included. We confirm a delivery date with the quote and run exteriors, interiors and animation in parallel teams, so a full leasing set can be ready for the same launch date.

Can the renders be updated when the design or the tenant changes?

Yes. The 3D model is built to be updated: when the layout, finishes or furniture change, we edit the scene and re-render the same cameras. This keeps later rounds far faster than the first set and keeps every image in the leasing campaign consistent.
