3D Rendering for Real Estate Developers: Sell the Development Before It Is Built

Real estate rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a development, built from your architectural drawings before construction starts. We produce exteriors, aerials, show-apartment interiors, 3D floor plans, flythrough animation and virtual tours that pre-sell units, support planning approval and bring investors on board.

Real estate visuals from masterplan to show apartment

A development has to sell while it is still a set of drawings: to lenders, to the planning board and to buyers who will never walk through a show flat. Real estate developers rely on Maverick Frame when a launch depends on visuals, so we model the buildings, units and site once from your CAD, BIM or PDF plans, and every brochure, hoarding, listing and ad shows the scheme you will actually deliver.

  • Apartment buildings with pale stone facades and balconies behind mature trees

    Exterior and street-level views

Hero exteriors and eye-level street views for brochures, hoardings and planning submissions, with your real materials, landscaping and neighboring buildings.
  • Aerial render of a tropical residential development with apartment buildings, palms and a lake

    Aerial views and masterplans

Drone-height aerials and masterplan views that show the whole site, the phasing, the amenities and how the scheme sits in its context.
  • Show apartment living room with a sofa, dining table and a city skyline view

    Show-apartment interiors

Furnished interiors of your key unit types, so buyers see the finishes, the light and the layout before a show apartment exists.
  • Top-down 3D floor plan of an apartment with living room, dining area and kitchen

    3D floor plans

Furnished 3D floor plans for every unit type, ready for price lists, sales portals and listing sites.
  • Flythrough animation

A cinematic film of the development from arrival to the terrace, cut into long and short versions for launch events, the website and social.
  • Virtual tours and 360°

Interactive 360° tours that let remote and international buyers walk a unit on their phone before they book a viewing.
  • Residents’ pool with loungers, parasols and a glazed pool pavilion with a lounge and bar

    Amenities and lifestyle scenes

Lobbies, pools, gyms, clubhouses and gardens shown in use: the scenes that justify the price per square foot.
  • Apartment building facade with balconies and lit windows at dusk

    Dusk and night views

Evening views with lit windows and warm landscape lighting, the images that most often end up on the cover of the brochure.
  • Apartment complex renders shown in social media posts on two smartphones

    Sales-suite and social assets

Crops and formats for sales-suite screens, listing portals, Instagram and paid ads, delivered from the same renders.

Any of these can be right. The set you need depends on who has to say yes next.

Which views to order is a late decision. What comes first is the job the images have to do: close the financing, get through planning, open reservations or sell the last units of a phase. We start there, not with a render list, and come back with a plan for what to show, to whom, in what order, and how to put it to work.

Cover of the guide comparing a show flat and marketing suite with a CGI launch set for a residential development

Free guide: a show flat or a CGI launch set, priced $179,080 apart

The developers in the row above come to us before there is anything to photograph: drawings, a finishes schedule and a sales date. We priced one launch both ways. A show apartment, marketing suite and photography came to $196,740; a real estate rendering set from one 3D model, $17,660. The guide shows every line, the weeks each route takes and when a show flat still earns its place.

Who reads the images

Who orders real estate renders and what each team needs from them

The same development is read differently by a developer, a lender and a buyer in another country. We scope the views to the audience, and one 3D model of the scheme serves all of them.

  • Two timber-clad apartment buildings with deep terraces above a landscaped street

    Residential developers

Off-plan sales start long before the building exists, and buyers need to see what they are reserving. We deliver the hero exteriors, show-apartment interiors and floor plans that open reservations and carry the sales launch.

  • Glass tower on a city street corner with traffic, trees and pedestrians

    Investors and capital partners

An investment committee decides on a scheme it cannot visit. We give lenders and equity partners aerials, massing in context and hero views that make the project, the location and the phasing easy to judge.

  • Lakeside clubhouse of a residential community with palms at sunset

    Real estate marketing agencies

Agencies need campaign-ready images on the developer’s timeline, not the studio’s. We work under your brand, deliver every format the campaign needs and keep the renders consistent across brochures, sites and ads.

Get the playbook for this role
  • Bright apartment living room with sheer curtains opening onto a terrace

Brokers, listing agents and sales teams

Sales agents sell units, not buildings, and a listing agent often sells a single home before it is built. We render the key unit types, the balcony views and furnished floor plans, or the hero exterior for the sign and the listing, so agents can answer a buyer’s question on the first call.

  • Courtyard between apartment buildings with trees, benches and paths

    Build-to-rent and leasing operators

Rental schemes lease from listings. We produce amenity scenes, typical-unit interiors and a virtual tour that fill the leasing portal before the first residents move in.

  • Aerial render of luxury coastal villas among palms above a turquoise bay

    Hospitality and branded residences

Resort and branded residences sell a lifestyle as much as a unit. We render the setting, the amenities and the view, so buyers and operators see the full experience before opening.

A developer, a lender and a sales agent order the same renders for different reasons, and each overpays in a different place. Choose yours: the views that move your decision, a realistic budget range and the brief mistakes we see most from your side.

Common real estate rendering problems

Real Estate Rendering Challenges We Solve

  • 01 Happened to us

Sales open before the design is final

Reservations start while unit mixes, facades and finishes are still changing, and every change makes last month’s renders wrong.

Our fixWe build the scheme as one 3D model, so a new layout or material is updated and re-rendered in days instead of redone from scratch.

  • 02 Happened to us

Renders that buyers do not trust

Over-styled images with impossible views and perfect weather make buyers suspicious and create problems at handover.

Our fixWe render the real orientation, sun path, neighbors and views, and keep the marketing styling within what you will deliver.

  • 03 Happened to us

Every phase and agency looks different

When each phase or campaign comes from a different studio, the development stops looking like one brand.

Our fixOne model, one lighting setup and one camera set for the whole scheme, reused for every phase and every campaign.

  • 04 Happened to us

Planning needs accuracy, sales need emotion

The same scheme has to pass a planning committee and then sell to buyers, and one set of images rarely does both.

Our fixWe produce accurate eye-level planning views and emotive marketing views from the same model, each for its own audience.

  • 05 Happened to us

Visuals arrive after the launch date

Sales launches, investor meetings and property shows do not move for late renders.

Our fixWe plan production backwards from the launch date, with previews early enough for your sales and design teams to review.

Real estate visuals by development stage

What a development needs from renders changes with its stage. Early views help finance and permit the scheme, later ones sell and lease it, so we scope the set to the decision in front of you.

The model built for the first stage is reused for the next, so each new set costs less than starting over.

Got it — thank you. Expect an answer in your inbox within one business day.
What is 3D rendering for real estate?

3D rendering for real estate turns plans and models into photorealistic images, animations and tours of a development before it is built, so it can be marketed and sold off-plan.

How does it help developers sell off-plan?

Buyers and investors commit faster when they can see finished exteriors, interiors and layouts. Renderings power brochures, sales galleries and ads months before completion.

What can you visualize for a development?

Exteriors, interiors, aerials and masterplans, 3D floor plans, flythrough animation and 360° virtual tours — everything a sales and marketing campaign needs.

How long does a real estate rendering take?

A single exterior can be ready in a few days; a full package of views, animation and tours runs longer. We plan delivery around your launch date.

Do you work with international developers?

Yes. We work with developers and agencies worldwide and align our schedule with your time zone and launch calendar.

How much does real estate rendering cost?

Aerials, animation and virtual tours are quoted by scope; a full launch package is priced once we see the drawings and the launch date. Every project gets a fixed quote for its exact scope within one business day.

What do you need from us to start?

Architectural drawings or a CAD, BIM or SketchUp model, a finishes schedule and a few references are enough to start. If the design is still moving, we begin with the massing and the key views and update the model as the drawings are fixed.

Can a real estate agent or realtor order renderings for a listing?

Yes. Listing agents and realtors order renderings to market a new-construction home before it is built: a hero exterior for the listing, the for-sale sign and social media, plus rear and aerial views. In pre-construction luxury home renderings, a listing agent sent only DWG drawings and we rendered the full exterior set.

Can a rendering be printed on a billboard or a for-sale sign?

Yes, when it is prepared for print. Tell us the print size before we start, and we render the hero image at the resolution it needs; for a recent billboard we delivered a 7680 px wide image. We can also design the for-sale sign around the render.
