Blender 3D Services: a Studio Team for Modeling, Rendering, Animation and Rigging in Blender
Blender 3D Services: What Our Blender Artists Make
One Blender scene gives stills, films and loops for every channel. We build it or pick up yours, so the next shot, colourway or campaign starts from the same file instead of from zero.

Blender 3D modeling: clean meshes from CAD or photos
Products, machines, vehicles and buildings modelled in Blender with clean topology, from STEP and other CAD exports, drawings, a sample unit or photos. One model serves close-up stills, animation and real-time exports.
Product rendering in Blender
Photoreal stills on white, in studio light or in a lifestyle scene, with PBR materials for glass, metal, plastic, fabric and liquids, rendered in Cycles or Eevee in 4K for e-commerce, Amazon listings, ads and launch pages.Blender product animation for ads and launches
Short product films and vertical 9:16 loops for social media, ads and marketplaces, plus launch films and explainers, like this vape film made from the manufacturer’s STEP file: camera moves, reveals and exploded views animated in Blender and edited in After Effects. See 3D product animation.
Rigging and character animation in Blender
Character rigs and human animation in Blender, such as the anatomical characters we rigged for an exercise library, and mechanical rigs for products that fold, unfold or open. The rig stays in the .blend file, so your team can pose and animate it again.
Mechanical animation from your CAD
Assemblies, mechanisms, machines and robots that move exactly as engineered: exploded views, cutaways and sequences driven by your CAD and assembly order, so engineers can check the film before it goes public. See assembly animation.
Architecture and buildings in Blender
We built a 550-meter New York tower in Blender from the design model for an investor image set. If your building is already in Blender, we can finish the scene with landscape and lighting; see exterior rendering.
Not sure what to order from your Blender scene?
It depends on who has to say yes: a client, a planning officer, a buyer or an investor. Tell us who will see the images and where, and we come back with a shot list and a plan.

Blender 3D Services: a Studio Team for Modeling, Rendering, Animation and Rigging in Blender
Most studios sell you renders. We work out what will actually move your project forward.
Ask a rendering studio what you need and you get a quote for renders. We start from the outcome you are paid for: a committee that signs off, enquiries on a scheme that does not exist yet, a buyer who stops comparing, an investor who commits.
Send one email and our 3D strategist replies with a commercial plan for the project: what to show, to whom, in what order, where it goes to work, and what it takes. The list of deliverables is the end of that plan, not the beginning.
Free, and yours to keep even if you never work with us.
Thank you – your request has been sent.
Our 3D strategist is reading the project now and will write back with the plan: what to show, to whom, and in what order.
Your Blender pipeline
Working Inside Your Blender Scene
Can you open our .blend files and keep our setup?
Yes. We open your .blend files as the starting point and keep your lighting, materials, camera style and naming, so new shots match the ones you already have. Send the scene with its textures and linked libraries, references and the shot list, under NDA if the models are confidential.
- Your files as the base .blend scenes with linked libraries and assets, plus .c4d, FBX, OBJ or glTF where part of the project lives elsewhere.
- Your look kept Lighting, materials, render settings and camera style matched to your existing shots before we add anything.
- Only what is missing added New cameras and shots, animation, product variants, landscape and planting, or small surface changes to an existing model, agreed before we start.
- CAD brought in cleanly STEP and other CAD exports converted into Blender meshes with real dimensions, smooth shading and clean normals.
- Version and add-ons agreed We agree the Blender version and any add-ons the scene relies on before we start, so the file opens the same on your side.
- Confidential models NDA on request; the work stays out of our portfolio if you ask.

Free guide: fifteen seconds of film is 360 frames, and we priced every one
The brands in the row above rarely ask for three films. They ask for one hero spot, name two channels and let the storyboard do the rest. A launch brief taken literally came to $20,850 of product animation; the launch it described needed $7,500. The guide prices explainer, hero spot and loop side by side, with the cutdowns each channel really needs.

Blender Project Problems We Fix Before the First Render
-
01 Happened to us
A render farm renders faster, not better
Sending the scene to a render farm saves hours, but flat light, plastic-looking materials and the same cameras stay in every frame.
Our fixWe rework the light, materials and cameras in your scene first, then render it ourselves.
-
02 Happened to us
CAD that does not render
STEP and other CAD exports come into Blender with triangulated faces, broken normals and no materials, and close-ups show every facet.
Our fixWe convert and clean the CAD geometry, keep the exact dimensions and build PBR materials on top.
-
03 Happened to us
New shots that do not match the old ones
A new artist opens your scene and the light, colour and camera style drift away from the shots already published.
Our fixWe match your existing lighting, materials and cameras first and show a test frame next to your reference.
-
04 Happened to us
A file nobody else can open
Missing textures, unnamed objects, broken links and rigs that only their author understands.
Our fixWe hand back an organised .blend file with packed textures, clear names and working rigs, ready for the next shot.
-
05 Happened to us
Hand-posed motion that engineers reject
Exploded views and mechanisms animated by eye do not match how the product really comes apart.
Our fixWe drive the part motion from your CAD and assembly order, so engineers can check the film before it goes public.

How a Blender project runs, step by step
Every project goes through the same five steps, so you approve the look in still frames and the motion in a draft before the final render, and changes stay cheap.
Two rounds of revisions on the draft and one on the final are included, and the scene comes back ready for the next shot.
Free: the product animation visuals roadmap

Freelancer or studio
Blender Freelancer or Studio Team: What Changes for You
Should we hire a Blender artist on a marketplace or a studio team?
A single Blender freelancer suits a small one-off job. A studio team suits work where modeling, lighting, animation and rigging all have to be strong, the deadline cannot slip and the file has to come back clean.
| What you compare | Freelance Blender artist | Our studio team |
|---|---|---|
| Skills on one project | One person covers modeling, lighting, animation and rigging, or you hire several | Modeling, lighting, animation and rigging covered by one team |
| Your Blender setup | Their own version and add-ons | Your Blender version, add-ons and naming agreed before we start |
| Who runs the project | You do | A dedicated project manager, from brief to delivery |
| Continuity | Depends on one person’s schedule | A dedicated manager, and often the same artists, kept on your projects |
| Confidentiality | Depends on the person | NDA on request; your work stays out of our portfolio if you ask |
| What comes back | Renders, sometimes the file | Renders and films, plus the native .blend file, rigs and textures on request |
| Under your name | Rarely agreed | White-label on request; we stay out of sight with your client |

Rigged .blend Handover: What You Get Back With the Renders
With the final renders and films you can get the native .blend file, cleaned up so your team or the next studio can open it and keep working, with rigs, materials, cameras and textures in place. The handover and the rights to the model are agreed in the contract.
- Native .blend file Organised collections and clear names, textures packed or delivered alongside, so the scene opens without missing files.
- Rigs that keep working Character rigs and mechanical rigs of folding or opening products, with their controls, ready for new poses, shots and animation.
- Render passes Reflections, shadows and masks delivered as separate passes for retouching and compositing on your side.
- Every camera and shot Cameras, lighting and render settings saved per shot, so a new colourway or angle is a re-render, not a rebuild.
- Exports for other tools FBX, OBJ or GLB of the model for game engines, web viewers and AR.
- Rights in the contract Exclusive commercial rights to the finished model and its source files on request; use of the images and films agreed per project.
FAQ
Questions About Blender 3D Services
Didn’t find your question?
Ask it here. A producer replies within one business day — with an answer, not a sales call.
What are Blender 3D services?
Blender 3D services are 3D modeling, rendering, animation and rigging done in Blender by a studio for a client. You send a .blend scene, CAD files, drawings or photos and references; our team builds or finishes the scene and delivers 4K stills and films, with the native .blend file handed back on request.
How do we hire a Blender artist from your team?
Send the brief: what you need to show, your files, references and the deadline. We reply within one business day, and on a short call we agree the scope, the team and a test frame if you need one.
Can you work inside our existing Blender scene?
Yes. We open your .blend files as the starting point, keep your lighting, materials and camera style, and add only what is missing: new shots, animation, landscape or small changes to an existing model. Send the scene with its textures and linked files, or tell us what is missing and we will rebuild it.
Do you do simulations, Geometry Nodes and mechanical rigs in Blender?
Yes. We simulate liquids, fabric and cloth in Blender, build procedural scenes and motion with Geometry Nodes, and rig mechanisms of products that fold, unfold or open, alongside character rigs. Final frames are rendered in Cycles or Eevee, whichever suits the shot.
Can you fix or finish a Blender project someone else started?
Yes. Send the .blend file and tell us what is wrong or missing. We check the scene, list what needs work, such as missing textures, broken links, materials, lighting or the rig, and quote it before we start.
Can you hand over the .blend file with the rig?
Yes. On request you get the native .blend file with rigs, materials, cameras and textures, organised so your team can open it and keep working. The handover and the rights to the model are agreed in the contract.
Can you build a Blender model from our CAD files?
Yes. We bring STEP files exported from SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or other CAD software into Blender, clean the geometry and keep the exact dimensions, then add PBR materials for close-up renders and animation. Drawings, DWG, SketchUp or Rhino files, a sample unit or photos work too; see 3D product modeling.
Do you rig and animate characters in Blender?
Yes. We rig characters and animate people in Blender, including anatomical characters for exercise and physio apps; see medical animation. Rigs come back in the .blend file by agreement, so your team can pose and animate them again.
Which other software do you use besides Blender?
We also work in Cinema 4D with Redshift, Maya, Houdini, 3ds Max with Corona and Unreal Engine, in CLO3D and Marvelous Designer for fabric, and in After Effects for editing. We use Blender when your pipeline is in Blender or the job suits it, and we accept .c4d, FBX and scenes from most other 3D software.
Is Blender good enough for commercial product and advertising work?
Yes. Blender is free, open-source software that covers modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering and compositing in one program, and the quality of the result depends on the artist, not the licence. Our 3ds Max vs Blender comparison covers where each fits.
Can you deliver files for Unreal Engine, the web or AR?
Yes. Besides the .blend file we export the model as FBX, OBJ or GLB for game engines, web viewers and AR, and we build interactive product viewers; see 3D product configurators.
Do you work under NDA, and will our project appear in your portfolio?
We work under NDA on request, and then the work is not shown. Without an NDA we still do not show a project if you ask us not to; otherwise we may show it, and we agree this before we start.
Who owns the Blender model and the renders?
On request we transfer exclusive commercial rights to the finished model together with the source files, fixed in the contract. The rights to the images and films are agreed per project and written into the contract as well.
How much does it cost to hire a Blender team?
It depends on the number of shots, the length of the film, how much modeling and rigging is needed and the deadline. Send the brief and we reply with a fixed quote or an hourly estimate; typical market ranges are in our 3D product animation cost guide and 3D rendering pricing guide.
How long does a Blender project take?
A 30-second Blender animation of a product usually takes 2 to 4 weeks from a complete brief, including the storyboard, styleframes, animation, rendering and the edit, and a film of up to a minute takes 4 to 6 weeks. Stills come faster; the exact plan follows the brief.
Can we hire your Blender team under our agency name?
Yes. We work white-label for agencies and studios: you present the work to your client as your own, and we stay out of sight.
Test Frame
Start With a Test Frame From Your Blender Scene
Send your .blend file, CAD or photos with a few references. On the first call we agree a test: one or more frames lit and rendered from your scene, free or paid depending on the project.
We reply by email within one business day with the conditions and next steps. By submitting, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
