Bathroom product rendering for every fixture of the range

Bathroom product rendering is the making of photoreal images and animation of faucets, showers, sanitaryware, vanities and accessories from their CAD files: silo shots and every finish for product pages and finish selectors, complete bathroom scenes for the website and catalog, and close-ups that show chrome, brass, glass and ceramic as they really look.

  • Render of two thermostatic shower systems with rain heads and wall-mounted basin faucets in polished chrome and brushed brass on a marble wall

    Faucets, showers and fittings

Basin and kitchen faucets, shower systems, rain heads, valves and wastes rendered from your CAD, with the exact profile of every handle and spout. Chrome, brushed steel and coloured finishes reflect the room around them, so the fitting reads as metal, not plastic.
  • Six renders of bathroom accessories in brushed stainless, gunmetal black, brushed gold and aged gold finishes arranged in a grid

Every finish of the range from one model

Brushed gold, antique brass, brushed stainless, gunmetal black, satin bronze or your own finish names: each product is modelled once and rendered in every finish with the same camera and light, ready for a finish selector, a configurator or a catalog page.
  • Render of a stone bathroom with a floating vanity, a wall-mounted faucet and a freestanding bathtub by a garden window

    Complete bathroom scenes

Your products together in a finished bathroom: the basin on the vanity, the faucet on the wall, the bathtub by the window. Scenes are styled for your buyers, from compact apartments to spa bathrooms, and give the website, catalog and ads images no photo set could match.
  • Render of a hotel bathroom with a frameless glass shower enclosure in marble, a rain shower and a double vanity against a teal wall

    Shower doors, enclosures and glass

Frameless doors, sliding systems, fixed panels and fluted or clear glass rendered with real thickness, edges and hardware. One enclosure can be shown with several glass types and hardware finishes, and in portrait frames for product pages and social media.
  • Render of a woman in a bathrobe kneeling by a white bathtub and pressing a product onto its surface

    Product demos and installation animation

Short animations that show a product in use or how it is installed: a thermostatic valve, a push-button waste, a shower door closing softly, a glass wiper clearing the glass. Made from the same model as your stills, for product pages, installers and trade shows.
  • Render of a bathroom brand stand at a trade show with a wall of faucets, two vessel basins, a freestanding bathtub and a glass shower

    Trade show stands and showrooms

Stand concepts and visuals for KBIS and other kitchen and bath trade shows, showroom displays for dealers and large-format scenes for booth screens. We visualised a trade show stand for a water filtration brand with its taps and sinks on display.
  • Render of a floating oak double vanity with a stone top, two brass faucets and a backlit mirror

    Vanities and bathroom furniture

Floating and freestanding vanities, mirror cabinets and storage in every wood, lacquer and stone top of the collection, alone and in complete bathrooms. More furniture formats on our 3D furniture rendering page.

Which images you need first depends on who chooses your product next.

A homeowner on your website, a hotel specifier, a showroom dealer and a marketplace buyer decide on different images. We start with that decision, then choose the finishes, the scenes and the formats.

Cover of the guide on choosing between packshots, lifestyle scenes and a master product model

Free guide: one product, three ways to pay, and the one that cost $28,000

None of the brands above started with a forty-page specification. They started by choosing a route: packshots, lifestyle scenes or a master model for every colourway after. Bought still by still, one product's year of product rendering came to $28,000; from one master model, $10,520. The guide prices all three routes and shows which one fits your range.

Who orders bathroom product renders

Who orders bathroom product rendering, and what each team needs from it

Bathroom product renders are ordered by six kinds of teams, and each needs the same fixture shown differently: a faucet brand sells finishes, a sanitaryware maker sells the room, a specifier sells the project. We make the images; your marketing team or agency runs the campaigns.

  • Six renders of a bottle trap, a pop-up waste and toilet roll holders in aged gold, brushed stainless, gunmetal black, antique brass and satin bronze

    Faucet, shower and fittings brands

Need every product in every finish, in exactly the same light, for finish selectors, product pages and catalogs. We rendered 181 images of 13 products in 6 finishes for Cavari’s online finish selector, after AI tools could not keep the products consistent.

  • Render of a freestanding bathtub and a vessel basin on a walnut vanity in a sunlit bathroom with a large window

    Sanitaryware and bathtub makers

Need basins, toilets, bathtubs and shower trays shown in finished bathrooms with the right proportions, glaze and stone surfaces, plus clean silo shots for dealers and marketplaces. One model of each product serves both.

Get the playbook for this role
  • Close-up render of a frameless glass shower door with a chrome hinge, a pull handle and water drops in a marble bathroom

Shower door and glass enclosure brands

Need glass that looks like glass: real thickness, polished edges, hardware and the bathroom seen through it. We show each enclosure in clear, fluted or tinted glass and with every hardware finish, in hotel and residential bathrooms.

Get the playbook for this role
  • Render of a compact dark bathroom module with a basin, a round mirror light and a paneled door

Bathroom pod and modular bathroom makers

Need the whole module shown before it is built: layout, fixtures, finishes and the way it fits a hotel room, an apartment or a vehicle. We render the pod from your drawings, inside and from the outside, for sales and project bids.

  • Render of a row of stone basins with brass faucets in the ritual area of a wellness club

    Hotel developers and hospitality specifiers

Need to see a fixture or a product in their type of guest bathroom before they specify it for hundreds of rooms. We render your product in hotel, spa and wellness bathrooms at the level of finish the project demands.

  • Render of brushed steel faucets of different heights set into a stone counter on a trade show stand

    Distributors, dealers and showrooms

Need consistent images of many brands and products for websites, catalogs, marketplace feeds and showroom screens. One style guide keeps every new product in line with the rest of the range, whoever made the original files.

Room-Set Photography, CGI or AI Images for a Bathroom Range: How They Compare

Should we photograph our bathroom products, render them or generate the images with AI?

For a range sold in several finishes, CGI from your CAD is usually the strongest base. A room-set shoot needs finished samples and a built bathroom for every scene, and AI image tools redraw handles, spouts and logos differently in every image, which is why Cavari moved from AI to CGI.

Common bathroom marketing problems

Bathroom Product Rendering Challenges We Solve

  • 01 Happened to us

Chrome, brass and glass look fake

Polished metal reflects the photo studio around it, brushed finishes turn grey and glass disappears or looks like plastic.

Our fixWe set up every finish and light it inside the bathroom it stands in.

  • 02 Happened to us

Every product comes in six finishes

A range of 13 products in 6 finishes is 78 product images before the first angle or close-up is added.

Our fixEach product is modelled once; a finish is a material change.

  • 03 Happened to us

    AI images change the product

AI tools redraw handles, spouts and logos slightly differently in every image, which a finish selector cannot hide.

Our fixCGI from your CAD keeps every product identical in every image.

  • 04 Happened to us

A room set shoot for every collection

Building and photographing a real bathroom for each new collection takes weeks and limits the number of scenes.

Our fixWe build the bathrooms in 3D and change them as often as you need.

  • 05 Happened to us

Specifiers need to see their own project

A hotel or developer cannot judge a fixture from a catalog shot on a white background.

Our fixWe render it in their type of bathroom at their level of finish.

Bathroom product renders by stage, from CAD to the hotel bid

Each stage of a bathroom range needs different images, and one 3D model of each product serves all of them. Start with the stage you are in; finishes and scenes rendered earlier carry over to the next one.

For Cavari, 13 bathroom products in 6 finishes became 181 renders for the finish selector on its website.

Hotel and project specs

Bathroom Fixture Renders for Hotel and Project Specifiers

How do we show a hotel specifier our product in their bathrooms?

Render it in their type of guest bathroom. A specifier choosing for hundreds of rooms needs the fixture at the level of finish of the project, next to the stone, glass and lighting they plan, plus clean product shots for the specification book. We build those bathrooms in 3D around your product.

See hotel rendering

  • Guest bathrooms at project level Marble, stone and glass bathrooms of a luxury hotel, a resort villa or a branded residence.
  • The product in use A shower running, a glass wiper clearing the door, a vanity lit for the evening.
  • One product, several room types Standard room, suite and spa bathroom for one bid.
  • Spec-book shots Silo shots and close-ups of every finish that drop into a tender or specification document.
  • Formats for the pitch Wide images for the presentation and portrait frames for the brand website and social media.

Before-and-After Renders and Loops for Bathroom Products That Do Something

Our product keeps glass clean or water warm. How do we show that?

Show the result in one scene. We render the same bathroom before and after the product works, with nothing else moved, and turn the pair into a short loop. For an automatic glass wiper we made streaked shower glass turn clear in short loops built from its still renders.

See 3D product animation

  • Streaked glass turning clear Water marks and mist on a shower door or panel wiped away by the product.
  • Water and temperature Flow patterns, spray shapes and steam made visible without a test rig.
  • Soft-close and movement Doors, drawers and push-button wastes moving at their real speed.
  • Stills from the same scenes The before and after frames also work as two images on the product page.
  • Loops for every screen Loops of a few seconds for product pages, ads, social media and showroom screens.

What is bathroom product rendering?

Bathroom product rendering is the making of photoreal images and animation of faucets, showers, sanitaryware, vanities and accessories from their 3D models or CAD files. Brands use it instead of product and room-set photography for websites, finish selectors, catalogs, marketplaces, trade shows and hotel bids. For bathroom design ideas, see our bathroom renders article.

Can you render every finish of our range?

Yes. Each product is modelled once and rendered in every finish with the same camera, light and scene, so the images match exactly. For Cavari we rendered 181 images of 13 bathroom products in 6 finishes, from brushed gold to gunmetal black, for the finish selector on its website.

Can the renders feed our finish selector or configurator?

Yes. We deliver the renders as a matched set, one file per product, finish and angle, named the way your selector or configurator expects. If you need the configurator itself, see our 3D product configurator service; Cavari kept its own selector and we supplied the images.

Why not use AI to make images of our bathroom products?

Because AI tools redraw the product slightly differently in every image: the spout bends, the handle shifts, the logo changes. Cavari tried AI first and could not get consistent products for its finish selector. CGI from your CAD keeps every product identical across finishes, angles and scenes.

How do you make chrome, brass and glass look real?

We set up each finish separately, with the brushing, polish and patina of the real sample, and light the product inside the bathroom it stands in, so chrome and brass reflect that room. Glass gets its real thickness, edges and tint. Close-ups are checked against your samples before the whole range is rendered.

Can you show our products in complete bathrooms?

Yes. We design bathrooms around your products, from compact apartments to hotel and spa bathrooms, and style them for your buyers. The same scene can be rendered with different finishes, vanities or tiles, so one bathroom becomes images for several collections, the catalog and social media.

Can you make images for hotel and project specifiers?

Yes. We render your product in the type of bathroom the hotel or developer is building, at the level of finish they specify, together with clean product shots and close-ups for the specification book. For an automatic glass wiper we rendered luxury hotel bathrooms and high-rise apartments for its pitch to hotels.

What CAD formats do you accept?

Any common format: STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, Fusion 360, Rhino and others. If there is no CAD, we can model the product from drawings, dimensions and photos. Your files and new collections stay confidential under NDA until you announce them.

Can you animate how a product works or is installed?

Yes. We make short animations from the same models as your stills: a thermostatic valve, a push-button waste, a soft-closing shower door, a glass wiper clearing the glass. They work on product pages, in installer training and on trade show screens; see our 3D product animation service.

How long does a bathroom product rendering project take?

As a guide, the first draft of a still is ready in 3–5 business days after a complete brief, and a set of 5–8 views takes 2–3 weeks. Finish sets for a whole range are planned with you. Each still includes two rounds of revisions on the draft and one on the final.

Do you also render bathroom interiors for designers and homeowners?

Our bathroom interior work for designers and developers is on the 3D interior rendering page. This page is for brands that make bathroom products and need them shown in every finish, scene and format their customers, dealers and specifiers see.
