Consumer Electronics Rendering for Audio, DJ, Wearable and Tech Brands
Consumer electronics rendering for every device in your range
Consumer electronics rendering is the making of photoreal images and animation of speakers, headphones, DJ controllers, smart home devices and wearables from their CAD files: catalog shots on white, the device in a real room or on a desk, close-ups of grilles, knobs and screens, and every colour from one 3D model.

Speakers and home audio
Bluetooth and smart speakers, soundbars, turntables and amplifiers on white and in the room they are made for, with the grille, logo and controls exactly as in your CAD. We rendered the launch visuals for a Marshall speaker.
DJ controllers and music gear
DJ controllers, mixers, audio interfaces and MIDI gear with every knob, fader, pad and label readable, lit pads and screens on, for the product page, the box and the launch video.
Robot and connected devices
Robot vacuums, cameras, trackers and other connected devices, shown where they are used and next to the app that controls them. Smart home appliances are covered on our home appliance rendering page.
Gaming, streaming and desk gear
Gaming peripherals, headsets, microphones, keyboards, stream decks and controllers placed into a styled desk setup, at night with RGB light or in a clean daylight studio, so buyers see the device in their own routine.
Fabric, metal and glass up close
Woven fabric grilles, perforated metal, brushed aluminium, soft-touch plastics, leather and glass, set up from your samples and rendered close enough to see the weave, the knurling and the light on the edges.
TVs and devices in a real home
A TV on the media wall, a speaker on the shelf, a robot vacuum on the floor: lifestyle renders with the room, light and people matched to your buyer, with no shoot and no set to build.
Screens, displays and every colour
Lit displays with your real UI, status lights, exploded views and every colourway from one model, with the same camera and light, ready for the launch page, ads, retail partners and a 3D configurator.
Which images you need first depends on where your device is sold next.
A shopper on Amazon, a retail buyer at a trade show, a backer on Kickstarter and a reviewer reading the press kit decide on different images. We start with that decision, then choose the views, scenes and formats.

Consumer Electronics Rendering for Audio, DJ, Wearable and Tech Brands
Most studios sell you renders. We work out which images will sell your device.
Ask a rendering studio what you need and you get a quote for images. We start from the sale you need: a launch page that converts, a retail buyer who lists your speaker, a crowdfunding page that hits its goal.
Send one email and our producer replies with a plan for your launch: which views, colours and scenes, for whom, in what order, and what it takes. The list of renders is the end of that plan, not the beginning.
Free, and yours to keep even if you never work with us.
Thank you – your request has been sent.
Our producer is reading your request now and will write back with the plan: which renders, for whom, and in what order.

Free guide: one product, three ways to pay, and the one that cost $28,000
None of the brands above started with a forty-page specification. They started by choosing a route: packshots, lifestyle scenes or a master model for every colourway after. Bought still by still, one product's year of product rendering came to $28,000; from one master model, $10,520. The guide prices all three routes and shows which one fits your range.

Photograph Samples, Render From CAD or Use AI: Choosing Visuals for a Speaker or Headphone Launch
Should we photograph our device, render it or generate the images with AI?
For a device launched in several colours before production, CGI from your CAD is usually the strongest base. A shoot needs finished samples of every colour and fights reflections on glossy and metal parts, and AI image tools redraw the shape, logo and controls differently in every image.
| Product photography | CGI from CAD | AI image generation | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you need to start | Finished samples of every colour | CAD files or photos with dimensions | Photos of the product and a brief |
| Same device in every image | Yes, if samples are final | Yes, from one model | Shape, logo and buttons drift |
| A new colourway | A new sample and a new shoot | A material change on the model | A new generation that may change the product |
| Screens, LEDs and inner parts | Hard to light, inner parts hidden | Real UI, set glow, exploded views | Invented screens and parts |
| Before production units | Not possible | Yes | Only as a rough concept |

Consumer Electronics and Audio Rendering: Speakers, Headphones and Wearables
How do you make an audio product look premium in a render?
Through materials and light. Fabric grilles, perforated metal, woven textures, leather and anodised aluminium are set up from your samples, and the device is lit like a premium audio campaign: soft studio light with controlled highlights on edges, logos and knobs.
- Fabric grilles, perforated metal and woven textures Weave, stretch and hole patterns modelled at real scale, so close-ups hold up on a 4K screen.
- Studio light of a premium audio campaign Dark or light studio sets with rim light that shows the silhouette and the finish.
- Headphones and earbuds Cushions, headbands, hinges, charging cases and ear tips in every colour.
- Smartwatches and wearables Straps, sensors and lit faces on the wrist or on white, with your real watch faces.
- Every colourway, one set of cameras The whole range rendered with the same angles for the store grid.

Consumer Electronics Rendering Challenges We Solve
-
01 Happened to us
Launch date before production units
The launch page, retailers and press need images weeks before the first units leave the factory, and prototypes are not good enough to photograph.
Our fixWe render from CAD and update the images when the design changes before launch.
-
02 Happened to us
Premium materials look cheap
Fabric grilles turn flat, brushed metal looks like plastic and glossy parts pick up every reflection in a photo studio.
Our fixWe match materials to your samples and light each surface the way a premium audio campaign does.
-
03 Happened to us
Too many colourways to shoot
Every colour, finish and bundle needs the same set of views for the store, Amazon and retailers.
Our fixOne 3D model renders every colourway with the same cameras, so a new colour is a change, not a shoot.
-
04 Happened to us
Screens and LEDs never look right
Displays photograph black or blown out, and lit pads, rings and status lights are hard to capture.
Our fixWe place your real UI on the screen and set the glow of every LED and pad in the render.
-
05 Happened to us
Features are inside the device
Drivers, batteries, sensors and ports sell the product but are hidden in a photo.
Our fixExploded views, cutaways and close-ups come from the same model as the hero image.

Consumer Electronics Shot List: The Product Images One Device Launch Needs
How many renders does one consumer electronics product need?
Usually eight to twelve: a hero key visual, catalog views on white, two or three lifestyle scenes, close-ups of materials and controls, an exploded view and the colourway line-up. Every view comes from the same model, so the next product in the range reuses the cameras and only the scenes change.
| Render | What it shows | Where it is used |
|---|---|---|
| Hero key visual | The device in dramatic studio light or a styled scene | Launch page, ads, retail displays, press kit |
| Packshots on white | Front, back, sides and three-quarter views | Amazon, store, retailer pages |
| Lifestyle scenes | The device in a room, on a desk or in use with people | Website, social media, ads |
| Material and control close-ups | Grille, knobs, buttons, ports and finishes | Product page, A+ content, press |
| Screen and LED views | The real UI on the display and lit indicators | Product page, app store, ads |
| Exploded view or cutaway | Drivers, battery, sensors and build quality | Feature section, crowdfunding, investors |
| Colourway line-up | Every colour and finish with the same camera | Store grid, configurator, retailers |

Animation and launch film
From Product Renders to a Consumer Electronics Launch Video
Can the same 3D model of an electronic product make our launch video?
Yes. 3D modeling and animation for electronic products share one model: once the device is modelled for the renders, the same model drives turntable loops for the store, feature animations of how it works, exploded views and a full launch film with sound design, so the video and the images show exactly the same product.
- Turntable and hero loops Short loops for the product page, Amazon video and social media.
- How it works Buttons, pairing, charging, folding and the app shown step by step.
- Inside the device Drivers, batteries and sensors revealed in an exploded animation.
- Launch film A cinematic film for the reveal, ads and the press kit.
- Same model, same look Video frames and renders match colour for colour.

FAQ
Questions about consumer electronics rendering
Didn’t find your question?
Ask about your device, your CAD files or your launch date. A producer replies within one business day.
What is consumer electronics rendering?
Consumer electronics rendering is the making of photoreal images and animation of speakers, headphones, DJ controllers, smart home devices and wearables from their CAD files: catalog shots on white, the device in a real room or on a desk, close-ups of grilles, knobs and screens, and every colour from one 3D model. Brands, startups and agencies use it instead of photographing samples, for launch pages, Amazon, retailers, crowdfunding and ads.
Can you render our device before production units exist?
Yes. We build the device from your CAD, STEP, IGES, SolidWorks or Rhino files and render it before the first unit leaves the factory, so the launch page, retailers and press get images on time. When the design changes, we update the model and re-render the affected views.
Can you model our product from photos and dimensions without CAD?
Yes. From photos of a sample, dimensions and close-ups of the details we build an accurate 3D model, then match the materials and logos to the real product. See our 3D product modeling service.
Do you work in 3ds Max, and which render engine do you use?
Yes. Our core stack is 3ds Max with Corona, and we also work in Blender, Cinema 4D with Redshift, Maya, Houdini and Unreal Engine. On request we hand over the native 3ds Max scene or the model as FBX, OBJ or GLB.
How do you make fabric grilles and brushed metal look premium?
We set up each material from your samples or colour codes: the weave and stretch of a fabric grille, the hole pattern of perforated metal, the direction of brushing, gloss levels and soft-touch plastics. Then we light every surface like a studio campaign, with controlled reflections on edges and logos.
Can you show every colourway from one model?
Yes. The device is built once and rendered in every colour, finish and bundle with the same cameras and light, so the images line up on the store, Amazon and retailer pages. The same model can feed a 3D product configurator.
Can you show our app UI, screens and LEDs in the render?
Yes. We place your real screens and app UI on the display, set the glow of pads, rings and status lights, and show the device next to the phone that controls it. Send the UI files and we keep them exact.
Do you render headphones, earbuds and wearables?
Yes. We render headphones, earbuds with their charging case, smartwatches and fitness wearables on white, on a person or in use, with fit, cushions, straps and finishes shown in close-up. Every view comes from one model, so colours and sizes stay consistent.
Do you make lifestyle scenes with people?
Yes. We place the device in a living room, a bedroom, a desk setup, a studio or a gym, and can add people listening, streaming or training, so buyers see the product in their routine without a location shoot.
Can you make exploded views and launch animations?
Yes. From the same model we render exploded views of headphones, earbuds and speakers, cutaways of drivers, batteries and sensors, and short loops or a full launch film. See our 3D product animation service.
Do you make Amazon and retailer listing images?
Yes. We render clean images on white, lifestyle images, feature and dimension graphics and A+ content in the formats Amazon and retailers ask for, from the same model as the launch visuals.
Can you render the box and packaging of the device?
Yes. From the dieline or the packaging CAD we render the retail box, the unboxing and the device next to its pack, so the launch page and retailers get matching images. See our 3D packaging rendering service.
Can you make marketing content for a device launch: social media, ads and retailer banners?
Yes. From the same model we make social media posts and short loops, ad creatives, retailer banners and press kit images in every format you need. We make the visuals; your marketing team or agency runs the campaigns.
Can you make renders and a video for a Kickstarter or pre-order campaign?
Yes. Before the first production units exist we render the hero images, exploded views and lifestyle scenes for the campaign page and make a short product film for it. See our product launch video service.
Can you design the device itself?
Yes, the form and enclosure. Our product designers develop the design and construction of the product and deliver the CAD model (STEP or your factory’s format) with 2D drawings for the prototype maker or factory. Load and strength calculations and certification stay with your engineers. If your design is done, we can start from your CAD or from existing KeyShot, Blender or V-Ray scenes.
Can you make visuals for CES or another trade show?
Yes. From the same model we make the key visual for the booth, large-format prints, screen loops and a launch film for the show, so the device is presented before units arrive. See our trade show visuals page.
Do you use AI to make the images?
We choose the approach for the task: classic CGI from a 3D model, AI images, or CGI combined with AI. For a launch, the device itself comes from the 3D model so its shape, logo and controls stay exact in every image, and when your brand rules out generative AI we render the whole image in 3D, background included.
Do you sign an NDA for unreleased products?
Yes. We sign your NDA before receiving CAD files and keep files and reviews confidential. Work done under NDA never appears in our portfolio.
How long does a consumer electronics rendering project take?
As a guide, a first draft render takes 3–5 business days from a complete brief, and a launch package of 5–8 views 2–3 weeks. Urgent launches can be delivered about twice as fast for an extra fee.
