Dental Animation That Shows Your Device Working Inside the Mouth
Dental animation services for dental device makers, oral care brands and clinics
Dental animation is 3D animation of teeth, gums, bone and dental products that explains how a device, an implant or a treatment works. We model the mouth and your product from CAD files, scans or photos, animate each step to an approved storyboard and deliver films for product launches, ads, sales training and chairside patient education.

Dental devices working inside the mouth
Your device seated on a realistic arch with wet gums, translucent enamel and a natural tongue, shown at the moment it works: how it fits, where it touches tooth and gum, and what changes when it switches on.
Side-by-side comparison with a competitor's product
Your product and the competitor's product in the same mouth, from the same camera and at the same step, in a split screen or one after the other, so the difference in fit, coverage or action is visible in seconds.
Below the gumline: cut-away dental animation
Tooth, gum and jaw bone opened in section to show what a device, a rinse or a treatment does where no camera and no toothbrush reaches.
Dental implant animation
Implant, abutment and crown placed in bone step by step, for surgeon training, distributor decks and patient consultations.
Orthodontic and clear aligner animation
Tooth movement shown stage by stage under a clear aligner or brackets, from the starting bite to the planned result, for orthodontists, aligner brands and their patients.
Dental patient education animation
Root canals, crowns, veneers, whitening and gum treatment explained calmly for the chair, waiting-room screens and your treatment pages, with no blood and no real patients.Launch films and ads for dental brands
A product reveal built from CAD for launch day, trade-show screens and social ads in 9:16 and 1:1, cut from the same 3D assets as the training film.Dental instruments and equipment
Scalers, probes, handpieces and chairs modelled from CAD and shown in macro detail, with the exact material, finish and engraving of the real product.
Not sure which dental animation fits your launch, ads or sales visits?
The film follows the viewer. A dentist, a distributor and a patient need different films about the same product. Tell us who will watch and where, and we come back with a script outline, a shot list and the hours it takes.

3D Dental Animation Services
Most studios sell you renders. We work out what will actually move your project forward.
Ask a rendering studio what you need and you get a quote for renders. We start from the outcome you are paid for: a committee that signs off, enquiries on a scheme that does not exist yet, a buyer who stops comparing, an investor who commits.
Send one email and our 3D strategist replies with a commercial plan for the project: what to show, to whom, in what order, where it goes to work, and what it takes. The list of deliverables is the end of that plan, not the beginning.
Free, and yours to keep even if you never work with us.
Thank you – your request has been sent.
Our 3D strategist is reading the project now and will write back with the plan: what to show, to whom, and in what order.

Free guide: fifteen seconds of film is 360 frames, and we priced every one
The brands in the row above rarely ask for three films. They ask for one hero spot, name two channels and let the storyboard do the rest. A launch brief taken literally came to $20,850 of product animation; the launch it described needed $7,500. The guide prices explainer, hero spot and loop side by side, with the cutdowns each channel really needs.

Dental Animation Challenges We Solve
-
01 Happened to us
A mouth that looks like plastic
Dry, flat gums and identical teeth make a dental film look cheap, and dentists stop trusting the product shown in it.
Our fixWe build the mouth with wet tissue, translucent enamel and natural tooth shapes, and check close-ups against intraoral photos.
-
02 Happened to us
A device that does not fit the arch
A device modelled by eye floats above the teeth or cuts into the gum, and every dentist who watches notices it.
Our fixWe model the device from your CAD or measured photos and seat it on a real-proportion arch before we animate.
-
03 Happened to us
A difference buyers cannot see
Your product works better than the competitor's, but on a shelf or in a photo the two look the same.
Our fixWe show both products in the same mouth at the same step, in a split screen or one after the other, so the difference becomes the shot.
-
04 Happened to us
The action happens where no camera reaches
Below the gumline and between the teeth an intraoral camera shows nothing a buyer can understand.
Our fixCut-away views of tooth, gum and bone show exactly what the product does there.
-
05 Happened to us
One film for dentists, patients and ads
A single film is too technical for patients and too simple for dentists, and it does not fit a 9:16 ad.
Our fixSeparate cuts for dentists, patients and social ads, built from the same 3D assets.

How dental animation is produced, step by step
Every dental animation we make goes through the same five steps. The mouth, the device and the story are approved on paper and on still frames first, because a change to a storyboard takes an hour and a change to a rendered shot takes days.
For a comparison film we agree on the exact difference to show and on the competitor product shots at the storyboard step, so the comparison reads the way you want it to.

Why Choose Us
A CGI Studio Behind Your Dental Animation
We came to dental animation from photoreal product rendering, so we treat a dental device the way we treat any product we render: exact in shape and finish, lit with intent and ready for the extreme close-ups a dental film depends on.
- 01
In-house CGI team
3D modelers, animators and compositors on one team, so a film never stalls waiting for an outside freelancer.

Built from your CAD and photos
Devices come from engineering files or measured photos, and the mouth from intraoral references you approve, not from stock libraries.
- 03
Dentist review in the schedule
Script, storyboard and styleframes are reviewed by your dentists before animation, so accuracy is checked while changes are cheap.
- 04
Dedicated project manager
One person knows your device, your reviewers and your deadline, so you never re-explain the project.
- 05
One asset set, many films
The same 3D models serve the dentist version, the ad cut, the patient explainer and the stills for your product pages.
- 06
Confidential by default
Pre-launch devices and unpublished data stay under NDA, shared only with the artists working on your shots.

FAQ
Questions about 3D dental animation
Didn’t find your question?
Ask it here. A producer replies within one business day — with an answer, not a sales call.
What is dental animation?
Dental animation is 3D animation that shows teeth, gums, jaw bone and dental products to explain how a device, an implant or a treatment works. Artists model the mouth and the product, animate each step to an approved storyboard and render it as a film for launches, ads, sales training or patient education.
Can you animate our dental device working inside the mouth?
Yes. We build a realistic mouth with teeth, gums, tongue and lips and show your device fitted and working in it: how it seats on the arch, where it touches enamel and gum, and what it does below the gumline in cut-away views. The device is modelled from your CAD files or product photos.
Can you show our product next to a competitor's product?
Yes. We show your product and the competitor's product the way you ask: side by side in a split screen, one after the other, or in the same mouth at the same step, so the difference in fit, coverage, size or action is visible in seconds. The comparison is cut for ads, social media and your website.
How realistic can the mouth look?
As realistic as the film needs: wet gums with a light sheen of saliva, translucent enamel at the incisal edge, natural tooth shapes and a moving tongue. For patient films we keep it clean and calm, with no blood and no recognisable face, and for dentists we can go closer to clinical detail.
What do you need from us to start?
A brief with the viewer, the message, the runtime and the channels, plus what you have: CAD or STEP files, product photos from several angles, the instructions for use and photos of the competitor product if you want a comparison. If you only have photos or drawings, our 3D product modeling team builds the device first.
Can you make ads and social media cuts for our dental product?
Yes. From one set of 3D assets we deliver the master film and 9:16 and 1:1 cutdowns for Reels, TikTok and paid social, loops for product pages and marketplaces, and stills for ads and posts. The campaign itself stays with your marketing team or agency.
Do you make patient education animations for dental clinics?
Yes. We animate implants, root canals, crowns, veneers, whitening, gum treatment and aligners for consultations, waiting-room screens and treatment pages. Each film is calm and clear, without blood, and your dentist approves the storyboard before we animate.
How is dental animation different from medical animation?
Dental animation is the part of medical animation that works inside the mouth: teeth, gums, jaw bone and the products used there. For surgical, mechanism of action and other device films outside the mouth, see our medical animation service, made by the same team.
Have you made dental animation before?
Yes. For a UK dentist who developed a new dental instrument, we produced a launch animation and still renders for the website, social media and presentations, showing the instrument from multiple angles with macro detail of its materials and finish.
How long does a dental animation project take?
Timing depends on the runtime, how much of the mouth has to be built and the number of review rounds on your side. Most of the calendar goes into script, storyboard and styleframes, which you approve before rendering. Tell us your launch or trade-show date and we plan the steps backwards from it.
What formats do you deliver?
A master film in 16:9, plus the versions the project needs: 9:16 and 1:1 cutdowns for social, loops for websites and trade-show screens, a version without labels for translation, and high-resolution stills for catalogs and slides. Voice-over and music are scoped per project.
