Hotel Rendering and 3D Animation for Hotels and Resorts

Hotel rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a planned hotel or resort, built from drawings and the design package before anything is built. We render and animate exteriors, aerials, guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, pools and spa for developers, hotel brands, architects and pre-opening teams.

Hotel visuals from the first aerial to the opening film

A hotel has to be sold several times before it opens: to investors and lenders, to the brand or operator, to the planning board and finally to guests. We model the resort, its rooms and public spaces once from your drawings and design package, and render every view each of those audiences needs.

  • Aerial render of a tropical island resort with a curved pier of overwater villas

    Resort exteriors and aerials

Arrival views, facades and aerials that show the site, the sea or mountain view and how the resort sits in its landscape.
  • Render of a hotel guest room with a wood bed, pendant lights and flowing curtains

    Guest rooms and suites

Key room types furnished to the FF&E schedule, with the real view from the window, so the room can be approved and sold before the mock-up room exists.
  • Render of a luxury hotel lobby with curved sofas, marble floor and warm cove lighting

    Lobbies and arrival

Reception, lobby lounge and drop-off: the spaces a brand reviews first and a guest remembers first.
  • Restaurants, bars and cafés

F&B outlets with their own concept, lighting and table layout, for operators, tenants and the opening campaign.
  • Render of a hotel indoor lap pool with loungers and floor-to-ceiling city views

    Pools, spa and wellness

Pool decks, indoor pools, treatment rooms and fitness: the amenities that set the room rate.
  • Night render of a resort pool with lit palms, paths and guest wings

    Day and night views

The same cameras rendered at noon, at golden hour and after dark, so the lighting design and the evening atmosphere can be sold too.
  • Top-down aerial render of resort villas around a central pool in tropical greenery

    Site plans and masterplans

Top-down and three-quarter aerials of villas, pools, paths and amenities for investors, planners and branded residence buyers.
  • Hotel animation and flythroughs

Arrival sequences, room walk-throughs and resort flyovers for the website, sales events and social, built from the same 3D scene as the stills.
  • Render of a guest cycling along a sandy path through palms at a beach resort

    Guest experience scenes

Close, human moments on the beach, by the pool or on the terrace that booking pages and social feeds need more than wide shots.

Any of these can be right. The views you need depend on who has to say yes next.

Which views to order is a late decision. What comes first is the job the images have to do: close the financing, pass the brand review, get through planning or open the booking calendar. We start there, not with a render list, and come back with a plan for what to show, to whom, in what order, and how to put it to work.

Free guide: you order 12 images, publish 4 and pay $3,700 for the rest

Look at the logos above: none of those teams orders architectural rendering by the dozen. They start from where the building will be seen and let the image count follow. In our composite of a typical order, twelve views were bought, four were published and $3,700 went on images nobody used. The guide gives you the priced order, the place-by-place sizing list and the short brief to send instead.

Who reads the images

Who orders hotel renders and what each team needs from them

The same resort model is read differently by a lender, a brand design reviewer and a guest scrolling a booking page. We scope the views to the audience, and one 3D scene serves all of them.

Common hotel rendering problems

Hotel Rendering Challenges We Solve

  • 01 Happened to us

The brand review sends the renders back

Operators check signage, arrival, room layouts and FF&E against their standards, and generic renders fail on details nobody briefed.

Our fixWe ask for the brand manual and the FF&E schedule up front and build every key space to them before final rendering.

  • 02 Happened to us

The view from the room is invented

For a resort the view sells the room, and a stock sea or skyline is spotted by anyone who knows the site.

Our fixWe model the real surroundings from site plans, topography and photos, so each room type shows the view it will actually have.

  • 03 Happened to us

Every room looks like every other hotel

Rooms rendered with library furniture and flat lighting look generic and do nothing for the rate.

Our fixWe model the specified furniture, fabrics and fittings and light each space for its time of day and mood.

  • 04 Happened to us

    The design keeps changing

Key counts, room mixes and F&B concepts shift through design, and each change breaks the images already made.

Our fixThe 3D scene is built to be updated: we change the layout and re-render the same cameras instead of starting over.

  • 05 Happened to us

Marketing has to start before the photos exist

Pre-opening sales, branded residences and travel trade need images a year or more before the hotel can be photographed.

Our fixWe deliver the launch set in web, print and social formats, and swap in details as the fit-out is finalized.

Hotel visuals by project stage

What a hotel project needs from renders changes with its stage. Early views raise finance and win approvals, later ones pass the brand review and sell rooms, so we scope the set to the decision in front of you.

The 3D model built for the first stage is reused for the next, so each new set costs less than starting over.

Pricing

Hotel Rendering Pricing

Pricing starts at $39 per hour, or from $30 per hour on a subscription plan for ongoing work. Hotel rendering cost depends on scope, number of views, building complexity, whether a 3D model already exists, the software required, and the intended use of the visuals. We stay flexible and offer options for every need — from a single one-off view to ongoing creative production support.

What is hotel rendering?

Hotel rendering is photorealistic 3D imagery of a planned or renovated hotel or resort: exteriors, aerials, guest rooms, lobbies, restaurants, pools and spa. It is built from architectural drawings and the interior design package, so investors, brands, planners and guests can see the hotel before it is built or photographed.

How much does hotel rendering cost?

A hotel render costs from $390 per view: a standard interior view is about 10 hours at $39 per hour, an exterior view from $624 and a large or complex view, such as a resort aerial, from $936. Subscriptions start at $30 per hour. The total depends on the number of views, detail and turnaround.

What do you need to start a hotel rendering project?

The best start is the site plan, floor plans, elevations and CAD, Revit or SketchUp files, plus the interior design package: material board, FF&E schedule and the brand standards if an operator is signed. Site photos or a drone survey help render the real view. We can start with partial drawings and a clear brief.

Which parts of a hotel should we render first?

Start with the views your next decision depends on. For financing that is usually a site aerial, the arrival and one hero room; for brand review the lobby, key room types and F&B; for pre-opening sales the rooms, amenities and guest moments. We plan the order so each set reuses the same model.

Can you render the real view from the rooms?

Yes. We model the surroundings from site plans, topography, photos and drone footage, and place each camera where the room will be, so a sea, mountain or city view is the one guests will actually see. For projects without site data we agree the view with you before final rendering.

Do you make hotel animations and virtual tours?

Yes. From the same 3D scene we produce resort flyovers, arrival sequences, room walk-throughs and short social cuts, as well as 360° panoramas and virtual tours of rooms and public spaces. Because the scene already exists, animation adds to the stills budget instead of starting a new project.

Can the renders be updated when the design changes?

Yes. The 3D model is built to be updated: when the room mix, finishes or F&B concept change, we edit the scene and re-render the same cameras. This keeps later rounds far cheaper than the first set and keeps every image in the campaign consistent.

Can hotel renders be used on booking sites and in pre-sales?

Hotel renders are widely used on the hotel’s own website, in pre-opening campaigns, travel trade decks, press kits and branded residence sales. Third-party booking platforms set their own photo rules and often ask for real photography after opening, so check their current policy before listing renders there.
