Luxury Villa Complex Renderings on Spain's Costa del Sol

A boutique real estate agency in the Málaga area needed to sell a hillside complex of luxury villas before it was built. We rendered the complex from the architect's drawings: aerial views with the sea and the mountains, a top-down site plan, two villa types with private pools and the furnished interiors.

Client & Market Context

A Luxury Real Estate Agency Selling Villas Before They Exist

Our client is a boutique real estate agency on the Costa del Sol that sells premium villas, apartments and coastal homes in the Málaga area. Its new project was a complex of luxury villas on a hillside, with private pools, terraces and views over the mountains towards the Mediterranean.

Selling a Villa Complex From Drawings

Luxury villas are bought for the view, the light and the life around the pool, and none of that is visible in plans and elevations. Buyers of off-plan property on the Costa del Sol often live abroad and decide from images alone.

Free guide: off-plan buyers decide on 8 images, developers pay for 22

The frames above are the kind an off-plan buyer decides from, and there are fewer of them than most orders assume. In our priced composite, a developer paid $22,600 for twenty-two images, a film and panoramas, and still missed two of the eight that sell. The guide gives you the eight-image real estate rendering set, staged from launch to construction, and the one-page brief to send instead.

What are villa complex renderings?
Villa complex renderings are photoreal images of a group of villas made before they are built: aerial views of the whole site, a site plan view, exteriors of each villa type and furnished interiors. Developers and real estate agencies use them to sell villas off-plan, in brochures, on websites and in property listings.
Can you render a villa complex from architectural drawings?
Yes. This project was rendered from the architect's drawings of the complex and the villas. We model the site, the plots, the streets and each villa type, then add the landscape around them. If the drawings change during the project, we update the model and the views.
Which views does an off-plan villa project need?
Usually an aerial view that shows the location, a top-down site plan view, an exterior of each villa type and the key interiors: the living room, the kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom. For this complex we made 15 views: 7 exteriors and 8 interiors.
Do you work with real estate agencies, not only developers?
Yes. The client in this project was a real estate agency selling the villas, not the developer. Agencies, developers and sales teams order the same images for different reasons, and we prepare the set for the channels they use: brochures, websites, listings and presentations to buyers.
Why render a top-down view of the complex?
A view straight from above works as a visual site plan. It shows the street, the plots, the gardens and the pools in one image, so buyers can see which villa they are choosing and where it sits, without reading a technical masterplan drawing.
Do you work with developers and agencies in Spain?
Yes. This project was for a real estate agency on the Costa del Sol near Málaga, and the work ran fully remotely: the drawings and revisions came online and the final images were delivered digitally. We also rendered a finca renovation in Mallorca, and the location of the site does not limit the work.
